OpenPlan 2.0 project consortium

The functions for applying the OpenPlan tool in the context of municipal heat planning are being developed in the OpenPlan 2.0 research project. The project consortium consists of the Reiner Lemoine Institut (RLI), the German Solar Energy Society (DGS), and the Fraunhofer IFAM(IFAM). It will be funded from September 2024 to August 2027 as part of the 'Technology-oriented System Analysis' funding area of the 7th Energy Research Program of the BMWK.

OpenPlan 2.0 project partners

The OpenPlan 2.0 project places particular emphasis on the practical applicability of the tool. energielenker projects GmbH and Öko-Zentrum NRW are integral members of the project team as permanent practical partners. Through their involvement with real-life applications and their direct feedback on tool enhancements, they ensure that the OpenPlan tool can be used in the context of municipal heat planning.

open_plan 1.0 Projektkonsortium

The functions for planning cellular energy systems were developed in the context of the open_plan 1.0 research project. The project consortium consisted of the Reiner Lemoine Institut (RLI), the German Solar Energy Society (DGS) and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). It was funded from January 2020 to June 2023 as part of the 'Technology-oriented Systems Analysis' funding area of the BMWi's 7th Energy Research Program 'Innovation for the Energy Transition.'

Simulationserver
